Classes are taught in the Kripalu Yoga tradition, directly inspired from the life and teachings of Swami Kripalu (1913 - 1981).

Kripalu Yoga with Kelly is a mindful practice taught in a lively vinyasa flow; informed by precise alignment, yogic breathing, buddhist meditation, and inspirational contemplative theme's.

A supportive and friendly atmosphere leaves plenty of room to comfortably challenge yourself at your own pace. Weather you need to slow down and take care, or find your edge to discover new realms of your practice, these classes provide the freedom to be, and welcome, who you are, just as you are.

Kelly’s classes are also influenced by the Iyengar method, Donna Farhi, Buddhist meditation, and Yoga Nidra (irest style) as taught by Richard Miller.

What does that mean?

Expect to receive:
  • the wisdom of safe alignment in your postures
  • use the support of props such as blocks, bolsters, straps, and occasionally chairs or belts at the wall.
  • step-by-step guided Buddhist meditation, in particular Metta
  • and Yoga Nidra: guided meditative self enquiry and profound relaxation
